The relationship between Granberry Properties and Auto Locators of Texas began in 1996 when owner Richard Walsh was looking for space to accommodate his fledgling automotive sales company. Specializing in locating high quality pre-owned automobiles for customers looking for an alternative to the traditional dealership experience, Auto Locators of Texas began to flourish soon after becoming a tenant of Granberry Commercial Properties.

Following three expansions and two moves, Mr. Walsh decided that he wanted to build a building that would accommodate his long-term space needs.  He located a tract of land near his present location and entered into a purchase contract.  As the complexities of this land acquisition became more numerous and with the many issues relating to the development of a building looming, Mr. Walsh sought the services of his former landlord to navigate through these uncharted waters.  This move enabled Mr. Walsh to continue operating his automotive sales business while Granberry Properties handled his development.

The 13,000 sf building will accommodate Auto Locators of Texas as well as about 3,000 sf of additional lease space.  In addition to providing the development services for this project, Granberry Properties will assist in leasing and marketing the additional lease space.  This real estate solution allows the leasing income from this additional space to help offset the cost of the project now, while providing space for potential expansion in the future.
